Wicked Awesome Help for a Vet in Need

On Friday May 15th, the Wicked Awesome Wishes team, along with volunteers from local Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men locations in Grand Rapids Michigan, met with US Military Vet Nick Jackson and his family to provide some much needed support in a time of need. Nick is just 25 years old; doctors recently discovered an Astrocytoma, a brain tumor, following a routine CT scan.
The Wicked Awesome Wish team booked a private room and dinner for Nick and his family to celebrate one last outing before his Chemo treatment starts. Nick shared his story of discovering his brain tumor, and the next steps following his successful brain surgery in March. Over 30 people came to support this truly spiritual and positive veteran, who is as nice as can be. Wicked Awesome Wishes will provide $5,000 to cover medical expenses during his treatment. It's an honor to meet him and his family and we will support his fight and recovery throughout!
