The Wicked Awesome Buddy Walk in Toledo

On Sunday, October 5th the Wicked Awesome Wishes team made our way down to Owens Community College in Toledo, OH where this year's annual Buddy Walk took place!  Working with DSAGT, the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Toledo, the goal of the Buddy Walk is to bring the community together for a fun filled day while raising funds to support the mission: empowering individuals with Down Syndrome to achieve their goals and reach their fullest potential by providing support, education and advocacy not only for the individual, but also their families and communities.  Wicked Awesome Wishes is proud to provide the much needed financial support for this community!

We had so much fun playing sports with the kids, dancing around the DJ, and getting to meet so many amazing families and community leaders.  We look forward to this event every year and seeing all the opportunities that come of it for the Down Syndrome community!
