Strike Out for Illness Adventure

After days of rain, the sunshine came out to celebrate these brave children at Jimmy John’s Field in Utica Michigan. Wicked Awesome Wishes and Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men provided much needed funding and volunteers for this special event, “Strike Out for Illness Adventure.” Most of these children have life threatening illnesses and have been in and out of hospitals coping with life. These small warriors know a great deal of anxiety and fear. But not today! Today it was fun and smiles all around as they watched the “Great America Pastime,” Baseball.
