Strength takes many forms

Sometimes, the people who spend their lives caring for others are the ones who need it most.

Shelby reached out to us about her close friend, Mackenzie Waldrep- an ER nurse, a devoted wife, and a mom of five, who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of ovarian cancer. She’s someone who shows up every day for others with strength and compassion, both at work and at home. Now, she and her family are facing something no one is ever truly prepared for.

Learning about Mackenzie's story was a reminder of how quickly life can change, and how important it is to be there for each other when it does.

Behind every diagnosis is a family trying to adjust, kids trying to understand, and a mom doing everything she can to stay strong for them. While we can’t take away what they’re going through, we hope this support gives them a little breathing room and one less thing to worry about, so they can focus on being together.
