On April 1st, Wicked Awesome Wishes and Lady Jane’s once again partnered with Blessings in a Backpack to help address weekend hunger among elementary school children. Established in 2008, this incredible initiative was founded by a group of compassionate individuals dedicated to supporting children who rely on free or reduced-cost meals during the school week.
By providing nutritious, easy-to-prepare meals for the weekends, Blessings in a Backpack ensures that children return to school on Mondays well-fed and ready to learn and succeed.
For the second year in a row, Wicked Awesome Wishes and our Waterford Team proudly fulfilled this mission through a financial contribution that will cover weekend meals for 30 students throughout the entire school year. We are honored to continue supporting such a meaningful cause and remain committed to making a positive impact in our community.
