On March 12th, Wicked Awesome Wishes and Lady Jane’s partnered with “Blessings in a Backpack”, to play our part in addressing weekend hunger among elementary school children. Established in 2008, this initiative was founded by a group of compassionate individuals with the goal of providing support to children who depend on free or reduced-cost meals during the school week. By delivering nutritious and easy-to-prepare meals for the weekend, “Blessings in a Backpack” ensures that these children are well-fed, helping them return to school on Monday ready to learn and succeed.
Wicked Awesome Wishes and our Waterford Team executed the wish to help these kids with their nutrition through a financial contribution that will cover 30 students' meals on the weekend
for the entire school year.
