Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn. That is what happened to Verdina Spann. As a mother of two, Verdina was making good money at her job of two years when her company lost the campaign she had been working on. She was laid off and found herself struggling financially after enjoying what she calls a “settled and comfortable” lifestyle. “I was working at a bar part time, but I was living off tips,” she said. “So that was basically keeping food in my house, keeping the ligh
